Josephine St. Rehab

This 1916 brick home just south of Congress Park is being fully remodeled and the ceilings vaulted to add a 2nd story loft.

The re-imagined plan is to bring the home into the 21st century with a total high performance remodel as all exterior walls will be furred and filled with foam insulation to prevent air infiltration. All new windows, all new finishes, all new HVAC systems. HRV and mini-splits will provide point zone heating and cooling, and whole house air circulation for 100% fresh air.

Lacking insulation, the existing brick walls will be furred and foam insulated to bring the homes to energy code compliance, and meet the newly implemented 3.0 ACH blower door requirements.

This home is targeted for Energy Star Certification and is currently in the Construction Document and Permitting phase
